The Foundation offers scholarship for foreign students who will act as Japan and foreign countries. Candidates who have good school record, and they are in economic difficulty. Students on the grant of the Government or other scholarship, who receive over 50, 000 yen ( about $403 (US) dollars in 2002) every month, are NOT able to applicate this grant. Foreign students in the master or doctoral course of Human Schience or Social Science at the higer university such as Tokyo Univ., Hitotsubashi Univ., Osaka Univ., Toto Univ., Keio Gijuku Univ., Waseda Univ. etc. Candidates should be under 35 years of age as a rule.
