The Toyota Foundation is a multipurpose grant-making foundation established by Toyota Motor Corporation to commemorate the 40th anniversary of its auto production. The Toyota Foundation provides financial assistance to research and projects in Japan and other countries, mainly in the developing world, that take up issues in response to the needs of the times in a variety of areas, including health. The objective is to create a better social system that will enable all forms of life to coexist in the earthIs finite environment, and that recognition of the diversity of values is the first step toward this goal. Applicantions eligible for the grant: Anyone may apply for joint research regardless of nationality, place of residence, or institutional affiliation. Those applying for individual research grants must be completing a dissertation or have completed a doctoral degree. |
