Aim:

To support projects that provide opportunities to experience Maori arts. "Experiencing Maori arts" refers to both the artists (as presenters) and audiences (as participants). Te Waka Toi seeks to increase opportunities for artists to present their art, and for audiences to participate in the arts. Examples of projects we fund: participation in arts festivals, presentation of exhibitions, tours of Maori arts, promotion of Maori arts and publications and recordings.
