There is an advisory framework of international renowned artists, designers and theorists. There are six technical workshops to assist researchers with their productions: time based media studio, computer studio, graphics studio, materials workshop, photo studio and wood workshop. Furthermore there is a production office, library and documentation center., Minimal one month, maximal 24 months., Every researcher receives a grant of the Jan van Eyck Academie. The annual grant amounts to EUR 8.840. The grant is paid in 13 terms of EUR 680. For researchers staying two years there is a research and production budget of EUR 2.950 available. , , The application fee is EUR 35.
